terms of endearment...

or something like it.

i'm pretty sure makayah has found mimzy's nickname to be overused and worn out....why else would she be calling out, 

"feta cheese! feta cheese! come back here, feta cheese!"

and when cuddling on the couch with her little sister, makayah will cup her hands over mimzy's chubby cheeks and say, "oh pita chip, you are so cute!"

on other occasions, mainly when playing beauty shoppe, makayah will call out her next customer, "adora! it's your turn. time to put your makeup on, adora. adora, you look beautiful!"

but when makayah is fed up with little sister shenanigans and just can't take it anymore, she'll yell out, "stop pushing me, you little hobbit! give that back, you little hobbit! don't break my dolls, you little hobbit!"

i suppose, one nickname just isn't enough for a little sister.

today i am grateful for:

*carpools. :) 

*the warm weather. it was 40 degrees this afternoon, apparently warm enough to throw off one's shoes, sit and splash in the melted ice puddles, and enjoy the sunshine.

*easy roast chicken dinner with mashed red potatoes and hidden cauliflower.
