i can't believe i've slacked off for so long. here is a quick summary of our april month.
the rain here in wisconsin is perfect for playing in most times. it is warm and humid, and the kids just love to splash around.
isaiah wanted to try out his helicopter in the rain, and makayah just wanted to dance and sing in the rain...that's my girl! ;)
for one of our fun fridays, we went to state street to hang out. they happened to be having a free concert, free popcorn, and free ice cream on campus. free is so awesome. bucky the badger was also there and makayah and isaiah ran him down to get their picture taken with them. it was, indeed, a very fun friday.
we also had the chance to go to two different pow wows. the first we went to was the UW pow wow. sam had been invited by one of our friends in the ward to join the drum group. the food was super yummy (and free!), and the company was wonderful. there were quite a few of our friends from the ward that were there, and all our kids ran around together and played while we sat and chatted. i really loved it, it reminded me of home in provo and going to the BYU pow wow with our friends and family.
i'm sure april was packed with lots of other activities. but it's been a while. i DO know that april went much more smoothly than the previous months, as i was feeling more energy and less pukey. i think, for the most part, that i was busy getting the house back in order, and CLEAN. things are back to "normal." hallelujah.
