drum roll please...

there was no way we could skip finding out the gender of this little tornado.
we are all so anxious to see the baby again, even if it is only on the ultrasound screen.
today i am officially 21 weeks.

wake up daddy and mims from their naps, check.

pick up makayah from school, check.

pick up isaiah from school, check.

appt. @2:45pm, check.

healthy, wiggly baby, check.

we almost didn't get to find out what the gender was, because the baby was either crossing it's legs or had it's hands over the tell-tale parts. and after almost 45 minutes, we found out we are having another....

isaiah was out of his seat, ecstatic, and didn't know what to do but smile and stutter.

we went out to celebrate.

we had meatloaf and mashed potatoes in honor of our fun friday movie that we will be watching tonight - a christmas story. we also forgot mimzy's sippy cup, so she ended up lapping her milk like a little kitty when we weren't trying to teach her how to use a straw.

and of course, we left with their famous hubbard pies.

makayah's quote of the day:  sam was singing to makayah, "you are my shining star!" and makayah sang back in her wobbally sing song voice, "daddy, you are the favor of my star!" sam replied, "wow, makayah. the favor of your star? that's so special!"

isaiah's quote of the day: "i get a brother! i'm not the only boy!"

today i am grateful for:

*a healthy baby from the looks of the ultrasound.

*i'm grateful that my brother-in-law, noble, can get the medical treatment he needed tonight. :( poor, noble. we are praying for you and glad that it's only a broken arm. feel better soon. we love you.

*the chance i get to take out isaiah's old baby clothes and use them again. i'm really excited.
