the snow was too tempting to pass up. first up on the first day of visiting nana and umpa's house:
hide and go seek in the snow with auntie renee.
mimzy didn't exactly hide, she was just happy to be outside.
she loves exploring.
and i love those bundled up cheeks.
makayah loved eating the icicles.
isaiah loves sporting his green bay packers gear, even when having to count during a game of hide and go seek.
and my dad couldn't resist taking us out to his favorite chinese food joint.
the last time we came here, mimzy was around 7 months old and she tried to nurse the buddha.
mimzy wasn't too crazy about the chinese food, but she loved the fruits and pudding.
*****
today i am grateful for:
*rocko the elf. he hitched a ride and followed us all the way to arizona so he could keep an eye on isaiah and makayah...and mims. he's been a great help in motivating the kids.
*roast mutton sandwiches for lunch. so very good.
isaiah was helping little mims along the deserted flea market sidewalk.
*snow.
*christmas tree pine smell. i love that my parents bought a real christmas tree. it smells like all my childhood christmases.
*and christmas lights. they make us happy. i think the snowman is their favorite.
