We had planned to leave earlier than we did. But as luck
would have it, the washer broke the day before, we ended up with company and a baseball
game, and well, I procrastinated packing for this trip. So, of course, sam and
I were running around like crazy, trying to tidy up, pack, and run errands
before leaving for the month of august. It was quite the stress-filled event.
However, once we were finally on our way (around 7pm), things seemed to go much
more smoothly. The kids colored in their workbooks, and danced to the road trip
mix, and baby mims slept almost the entire way. We drove for about 4 hours and
then stopped for the night in iowa. We stopped around 11, which I think, was
the perfect time. goodnight!
