today was an eventful day for little mims.
first off on her agenda, vaccinations. last week we had doctor appointment, after doctor appointment. it seemed all the kids had their visit, and now it was mimzy's turn.
i was a little worried about how it would all go. but she did just fine. she cried for a couple seconds and then (thanks to me), focused on her juice box and granola bar. i'm surprised at how well things went. i was imagining utter chaos and extreme tears.
way to go mims!
i had to get a shot of this little guy. 3 weeks old and already fitting into his 3 month clothes.
since she was such a tough girl, i let her hold baby mo when she had begged. i placed him into her lap, and she was nuzzling in until he began to slide down. he didn't like sliding down and began to cry. samiyah had no idea how to handle a crying infant in her lap.
i love the look on her face..."uh, what the crying baby?"
usually, mimzy will fall asleep for the majority of the day after being vaccinated. however, today she was rather chipper and eager to tag along on the fishing trip with daddy, isaiah, and makayah.
interesting story: mimzy fell into the lake.
i don't think anyone was very surprised.

today i am grateful for:
*our amazing pediatrician. we love her.
*juice boxes and granola bars.
*daddy's ninja-like reflexes...oh, mimzy!
