a visit to banff national park was long overdue.
aunt shakeh was gracious enough to lend us her jogging stroller (thank you!) for our hike up the mountain side.
the walk was invigorating and the view was breathtaking.

we drove into the ski-resort town that resembles park city, ut in many ways. our first stop was the gift shop with the creepy mermaid in the display case. mimzy was thoroughly creeped out, while makayah and isaiah were in awe - they exist!
we drove around, grabbed a photo at the falls, and ice cream at the shoppe, and drove home before the darkness hit.
we beat the storm home. thank goodness.
today i am grateful for:
*a pretty perfect day. we needed it.
*the peace mountains and fresh air can bring.
*fun family activities.

great shots!
