sam was asked to give a presentation for a culture day at the library today. we tried so hard to get all the kids ready, and sadly, we made it just as things were winding down. but, we still got a really cool picture with daddy/uncle sam.
after scooping up some balloons for everyone,
we had planned on doing a photo shoot with all the cousins at the saskatoon berry farm...
BUT, the camera had been forgotten at home.
luckily, grandma saved the afternoon with saskatoon berry tarts.
we hung out and explored the gardens, played chess, and generally made a mess until we were asked to leave. okay, so the last part wasn't entirely true. but, almost.
