the cool air of fall is rolling in and we actually had to wear our jackets to isaiah's last baseball practice of the season.
while isaiah practiced, we watched the ducks.
there were cute baby ducks on the logs until we came closer, and they all jumped into the lake with their mama.
big sisters are so nice to have.
mosiah wanted to go on the slide, over and over and over again.
it was the perfect day to have hot cocoa when we came home.
hot cocoa and books for book club is the perfect combination for a monday morning.
by the way, i really loved these books.
"switch" broke down the hard things about making changes, and it's what i really needed to read right now.
"the paris wife" was devoured. beautifully written, so vivid, and sometimes really, really frustrating.
sam put this gate up to keep mimzy and mosiah from running away.
samiyah ran out onto the patio tuesday morning, and yelled out, "what you do to me?!"
it was a little heartbreaking.
our day consisted of paints, brushes, and all the embellishments i need to get rid of before we move.
after the kids made their own hungry caterpillar, i had them draw their caterpillar's favorite foods.
isaiah's caterpillar went to a fancy shmancy restaurant.
the end.
