Weddings and Friendly Reunions
visiting utah is always so busy. this visit was no different. we had lunch with tina at thanksgiving point and caught up. we had dinner with my parents. we met up with tina again, but this time with her boys at the splash park. it was so hot and the kids loved playing in the water. we visited with uncle nathan and they had a water fight. the day of the weddings was so chaotic. sam flew in the night before, and we raced to temple the next morning. we attended darrell and katrina's sealing. after that was over, we met up with noble (who is on a mission) at the gateway mall for lunch. we had planned this big surprise for him to attend redmond's sealing later that afternoon. it was such a great surprise! nobody knew noble was coming except for sam and i. when his mom saw him, her jaw dropped and she shrieked with joy.
it was a beautiful ceremony, and the evening was perfect, filled with dancing, desserts, and friends. i also sung during a slideshow, and that was pretty crazy. haha. everything was last minute and i had no piano player. but, it was fun and we all had a good laugh.
the reception was fun and so elegant. the kids danced and showed off their moves. sam and i got to visit and laugh with our friends, the groves.
it was such a great, but very long and tiring day.
before we flew back to wisconsin, the kids and i met up with cherisse and her baby boys. makayah was so happy to see her friend, momo.
we also went to the native beading day. the kids played with their long lost friends, and i visited with mine. i always feel like i'm coming back home to my family when i see the people from our native ward. i love that we can start up where we left off. thanks for the beading lesson, amanda!
