July 4, 2012
it's great being back in utah valley, even if it's only for a visit.
on sunday we went for a drive.
the top is where sam lived when we first met and started dating. i lived just a couple of houses down in the bottom right photo. ahh, memories.
on the morning of the fourth of july, sam and the kids went for a hike up Y mountain. i stayed back with the babies and slept in. ;)
when i did wake up, i woke up to a mustached mimzy - courtesy of uncle red, and delicious kneader's french toast - courtesy of uncle deb. thank you both! ;)

sam also made a little time to learn knife-fighting from his marine friend.
we had so much fun hanging out with the crowfoots. besides sam's brothers and their wives, troy, and deb and his family also came by and it was like old times.
mosiah was pretty thrilled about his first bbq. doesn't he look dapper in his little rocker outfit? thanks amanda, you are too sweet!

the best thing about the tree streets is the firework view.
we can't revisit BYU campus and not hit up the creamery.
today i am grateful for:
*family, lots and lots of family!
*BYU creamery ice cream
*fireworks and BBQ parties.
