Over the hill and through the woods...

the weekend with nathan, red, myha, and beth went by too fast. it was super fun all being in calgary together as grandma and grandpa's house. poor auntie myha had her wisdom teeth out, so i'm sure she was ready to go home and heal up. but, it would've been nice if we had just a little more time with them to go to the calgary stampede.

while they packed to go home, we made it to one of the free breakfasts they held in town. the concerts and pow wow dancers were great entertainment while we ate our pancakes and eggs.

we've only been here several days, and already we've had so much fun with grandma, grandpa, and uncle ammon.

gramma ding dong is excellent at preparing fun crafts for the kids to do.
she made the kids paper bear dolls to dress up. they loved it!

i was a little apprehensive about all this traveling and how it might affect mosiah and his sleeping schedule. so far, it hasn't bothered him one bit. he goes down around 9pm, wakes at 5am for his morning feeding, and then back to sleep until 9am. he's amazingly perfect.

it's been so nice being here. grandma and grandpa (and ammon) have made us feel so comfy for our summer visit. we are sharing the top floor with ammon. it has given us some room to spread out a bit.

we've eased into a relaxed routine of breakfast, crafty fun, outside time, lunch, more outside time, dinner, bedtime showers,

or bubble baths,

 and quiet story time.

mosiah has fallen in love with the dinosaur books... :)

today i am grateful for:

*the crowfoot's hospitality and generosity. we feel so loved. it is so fun being here. thank you!
