along with constant job searching here in alberta, we've managed to make some time for a bit of fun and silliness.
mimzy stole grandma's rain hat and loves to wear it around the house, outside, anywhere she can.

i think our favorite thing to do with our friend tina, is eat. well, at least that's what we do most when we see her. she is so sweet and is always taking us out to fun restaurants. thanks, tina.
several years ago, sam and a couple of his brothers built a fire pit in the backyard. it seems every time we come and visit, there is always someone coming over and we all end up sitting around the fire, eating s'mores, drinking cocoa, etc. so far, we've had christian and his wife and sister over for dinner around the fire. tonight, we had some of ammon's basketball buddies over along with their families. this fire pit has proven to be invaluable.
lots of fun, priceless memories.
