sam really should be writing this post.

i'll try to talk him into it.

but for now, i'll fill in the details of today.

sam's childhood friend was scheduled to drive through town on their way back to calgary.

the kids were super excited and anxious and just couldn't wait. 

are they here yet? what time are they coming? when will they be here?

they finally arrived and all was well.

J had been driving non-stop and after dinner and some chit-chatting, he went downstairs to the guest bedroom to sleep. meanwhile, sam and i took the kids out...
