friendly reunions

there'll come a day when we leave wisconsin for good.

i don't think i could've done it a year ago when we graduated.

i'm so glad we get to still be so close to madison and all our friends.

some of our good friends are moving away and we needed to play with them one last time.

when we first moved to madison, we were so homesick. the D family quickly became our first friends and made madison so fun and magical for us.

we love these guys.

and talk about hair envy, she has the most gorgeous curly hair i've ever seen and wanted for my own.

we will miss you guys! but, i'm so excited for all the new adventures in store for you and your family. and of course, we'll see you guys again - just in a different state. 

we tried to get mosiah to join the fun...but he hated it...

we also met up with more friends after the D family had to head out.

the C fam came and we love them, too!

they arrived in madison a year after we did, and i remember all our husbands in the church foyer cracking crazy jokes (while the wives rolled their eyes).

i think M and i were too busy chasing our wild kids to actually get a picture together (next time), but i'm so glad she is my friend.

we couldn't stay all day at the splash park, since sam had an appointment to fix his broken phone. 

sadly, we had to drag the kids away to the mall...

and this unforgettable heap of ginormous electric fun.

but seriously, c'mon electric company - really? a light switch slide?

new rule, old men working for the electric company are not allowed to build the next play place.

it's a good thing my kids only care that they are finally out of their carseats.

our post-appointment gelato. 6 scoops, 2 bowls, 4 spoons, 4 kids, 2 adults, and howls and shrieks of panic at not getting enough.

madison, and ALL our madison friends - we love you. i'm so glad we have so many reasons for coming back, again, and again, and again.
