as soon as we got back from our wonderful time at the k/1 math night, bedtime meltdown began. well, i guess it didn't really start out as bedtime meltdown. more accurately, it was bedtime rough-housing. i was a little more than anxious for my girls' night out and had clocked my mommy card out as soon as we walked through the door.
kids were spinning on chairs, running through narrow hallways, wrestling, jumping on and off furniture, and crying when these activities suddenly ended up in owie mayhem. it took great self control to ignore the chaos, pack my purse full of dr. peppers and movie candies (and bagel bites!)...and quickly run out the door and down the steps when i heard the door buzz.
"em" and "s," i couldn't be more grateful for a night out with the two of you! and "c," you were missed. hope you are feeling better. ;)
we had tickets to the opening showing of breaking dawn. at midnight. it was 7:30pm and i was thrilled to be waiting in line for the next 4.5 hours catching up and laughing with my friends. girl-talk is great therapy and relaxation after a busy day.
the movie, well i think i can safely say it met our expectations, especially after having read the book. i mean, really... the wedding, the honeymoon, the wolf talk, the birth, and imprinting scenes absolutely screamed for mandatory cheesiness. we laughed until we almost cried. it was great. thanks girls, for a fabulous night out!
we actually got this cup at happy feet. sam thought i'd like a souvenir. thanks, babe.
