our good friends "t" and "s" had asked us to do their photos for their christmas cards. i won't be posting their super cute photos here. i don't want to spoil their chance at surprising their friends and family. but here's the story.
we just so happened to schedule the photo shoot during a protest on the capitol. it was quite the challenge. there were people dressed up as cows, cats, clowns, etc. so naturally, people thought we were part of the protesting parade. people with cameras were stopping us left and right to take pictures of our clients. one guy even followed us from spot to spot - that was extremely annoying and i had to bump him out of my way a couple times. he eventually got the hint and let us be. makayah decided she didn't want to be left out of all the shenanigans and grabbed a sign left on the side of the street. that girl cracks me up.
all throughout the shoot, we had parents telling their kids, "hey kids, it's santa! go get a picture with him!" sam and i joked that we should've started charging people. and since they are OUR friends, our kids got to get the best shot with mr. and mrs. claus.
we were starving after the shoot. red robin sounded like the perfect end to our day. thank you "t" and "s." we had so much fun hanging out with you!
