sam flew in on saturday afternoon.
the day was such a whirlwind of a day. as soon as he got back and we picked him up, sam and i had to get dressed for our fourth and very last LEO Banquet for the law school. my mom was still here, thankfully, to care for the kids while we headed out with the baby.
i love these banquets. this banquet was hosted by MELSA (Middle Eastern Law Student Association). the food was amazing! the speakers and entertainment, wow. and the company, obviously awesome. it made me sad to know that this was probably the last time we'd see most of these friends after this semester.
the highlight was the baby. we had baby snatchers from the beginning straight through the end of the banquet. we didn't mind since it freed up our hands long enough to eat the amazing food. but the real baby snatching didn't start until the end of the banquet.
you'd have thought we brought a puppy!
at one point i had no idea where my baby was or who had him. baby mo, i'm sure, loved all the attention from the ladies. ;) after some mingling and a quick nursing session in a quiet room, we came back home.
on sunday we just chilled and the kids enjoyed having their daddy back home. it's always hard when daddy's gone.
we watched a bit of the new avatar series.

baby mo was happy to have his daddy back, too.

he needed some daddy cuddles.
and since daddy was back, we decided to make some chocolate chip banana bread to celebrate.
even mimzy helped out. my mom was pretty impressed that i let her "help."
i was, too. she did fine up until it was time to clean up - she did not want baking time to end.
isaiah was a great recipe reader. ;)
after our baking session, we all went out for some fondue.
we wanted to take my mom out for a fun meal for her last day here.
baby mo was so good and just hung out, sleeping in the corner.
we love us some fondue. we always think of our swiss family when we have it.
the melting pot is one of the kids' favorite places to dine. i think mostly because the manager gives them chocolate covered strawberries after he judges their coloring contests. he's cool like that.
the dessert tray. yum.
mom, thank you so much for all your help! we've had so much fun with you here.
at the end of the day, it turned out to be time for baby mosiah's first shower.
yay for daddy!
