my little mims.
i just want to let you know that it's been hard for me not to be able to hold, carry, or run after you, playing games like we used to.
it won't be like this for long. as a matter of fact, we only have one more week to endure, and my strength will have considerably increased.
daddy had to fly out soon after baby mosiah was born, and i know that makes this new transition even more confusing and difficult to handle.
but there's one thing you need to know.
you don't need to revert back to baby carseats and pacifiers that you've long outgrown.
you don't need to push the baby out of my lap to get my attention.
my lap may be occupied for several minutes or so...
but baby mosiah doesn't mind sharing. you may feel booted out, no longer the baby of the family, however, you should know that you'll always be my baby.
don't cry for too long. daddy will be home soon. and soon enough, you'll be snuggled in my lap once again, as i rock you tenderly to sleep.
you may have outgrown your newborn car seat and your pacifiers, but you will never outgrow your place in my heart.
***
today i am grateful for:
*nana who calmed and cuddled my little mimzy when my hands were full and i couldn't.
*mimzy's tenderness towards mosiah despite her frustrated feelings towards me.
*mimzy's forgiveness and love - mimzy's hugs and kisses are priceless.
