i always feel so silly taking pictures of myself - like i'm just completely narcissistic. but, then i remember, this is for the blog and my kids want to see pictures of me cuddling with them...
so as silly as i feel, i've got to just bite the bullet. ;)
mosiah was extra cuddly today and so generous with his slobbery, open-mouthed kisses. he recently learned how to "kiss."
and this guy is not camera shy, nor does he have any problems with the world revolving around him. his favorite thing to do is watching himself in the camera or the mirror...talk about narcissistic. i don't blame him, he's so darn cute.
samiyah was thrilled when the kids came back from school. raincoats and boots were thrown on and it was time to rake leaves strictly for the purpose of jumping into the piles.
this was mimzy's first leaf raking/leaf pile jumping experience. she had a blast!
makayah is an experienced leaf pile jumper.
there's a leaf fight brewing...
i'm pretty sure isaiah won the leaf fight. ;)
it's autumn at daddy's office parking lot as well.
isaiah had homework today, and after he had finished it, he checked it himself and gave himself a smiley face.
check, check, check.

when snack and homework were done, we broke out the playdoh.
rainy days are good for playdoh.
isaiah helped mix the colors and his hands were bright red and orange when he was done.
makayah was busy making flowers and rainbows.
and while the kids were distracted, i grabbed a treat of my own, all by myself. i had to be sneaky about it, otherwise i'd have a bunch of piranhas nipping at me.
i'm grateful for:
*the warmth outside despite the rain.
*for the energy and patience to make playdoh with the kids.
*the creativity of my offspring.
