our house and car rides have been filled with jokes lately. isaiah and makayah have been finding their sense of humor, sometimes victorious and sometimes utterly defeated. we've had to take up the end-all response to knock knock jokes - "no one is home!" - because we just can't take it any longer.
and of course, there's always the infamous potty jokes kids (and dads) find so funny. "that's what, chicken butt," "poop head", "toot this and toot that." and being the responsible adult in this particular conversation, i had said something about NOT saying potty words at school or they would get into trouble, and ultimately, i would be the one to blame - as the parent.
isaiah had a very interesting take on things,
"so, if i get in trouble for telling an inappropriate joke, then my teacher will have to talk to you about an inappropriate joke that my DAD taught me in the first place?"
basically.
They are sooo funny! You guys always seem to have entertaining days.
