little did i know...

*samiyah would wake up at 5:30 this morning with a cough. i drugged her up, and she fell quickly asleep - cuddling right up next to me with her hand on my face so she'd know i was still there. i knew i should've gone to bed at 10 last night.

*i'd wake up to huge tupperware containers filled to the brim with cereal. the kids wanted to surprise us with breakfast. thanks, kids. btw, this jug of milk was recently purchased on friday. i guess it's time to go shopping again.

*i'd have to run a 5k this morning, all because i locked my keys and phone in the car last night. sam was right, i should've gotten my phone out before i went to bed. i ran isaiah to school (late), and then makayah to school (late). i did run into another latecomer and she offered to take makayah home for me. i am thankful for helpful friends and jogging strollers!

*that sam would come walking through the door at 11am to bring his set of keys to me. thanks, babe. love you lots. now, that 5k won't be turning into a 10k. sheesh, nap time.


i just have to wonder what the rest of the day will hold. i feel like the day is already half over when it's just begun. ;)
