monday
my parents are here for a week long conference for their business. part of their conference festivities included a golf tournament. since my mom isn't a golfer, sam took her place and golfed with my dad on his team.
how can you not have fun golfing in a place like this?
i received many text messages throughout the day about how awesome the golfing was.
i'm so glad you had a great time, sam.
although they didn't win the tournament, i think they had fun.
meanwhile, isaiah and makayah took the day to complete makeup assignments for school. after all, they were missing 7 whole days of class. mimzy helped me with laundry and tidying up the place, and my mom's cousin came by for a visit.
the evening came, the cards came out, and it was family time.
it was a splendid evening of harmless competition and trash-talking.
