having just returned from a big trip, we wanted to have something easy and low-key. i decorated the house with balloons to surprise isaiah in the morning.
before heading out to church, we had blueberry birthday pancakes.
isaiah had requested split pea soup for his birthday dinner.
for dessert we had captain america cupcakes and red "superman" juice.
it was a comfortable evening of cuddles, movies, games, and chasing after balloons.
