we have a thing for costco. and because of our addictive love for wholesale goods, plentiful food samples, and inexpensive deli combos, we only make a once-a-month trip at the beginning of the month - usually because that's when we run out of diapers.
hello february, hello costco.
hello february, hello costco.

mimzy just learned how to sip through straws...

she makes the funniest faces...

he likes to make tough guy faces...

and she was just happy to be sipping her lemonade...

after stocking up on monthly supplies and goodies, we had our monthly costco dinner. i'm not crazy about my kids eating hotdogs and drinking lemonade, but they think it's so fun. i figure, once a month won't hurt. we also bumped into our good friends there. i think we see them at costco more than anywhere else. ;)
earlier today, when picking daddy up from work, i happened to catch this little grouch in one of her grunting spouts. sometimes, mims will get tired of being in her carseat, and when she does, she'll give a low growl and then pop herself up in her seat and grunt. it's so funny to watch and i try not to laugh at her, or at least let her see me laughing, but it is just so dang funny and cute.

i just had to capture these adorable little tootsies...

i really love our outings out to costco with daddy, they make the day seem so fun. i was especially glad we now have a month supply of diapers again.
although i was so tired (i was still battling a stuffy nose and stuffy head), somehow bath night was carried out, and i gave in to my kids' pleading for more family time. i looked at the clock - 7:30pm. okay, fine.
we played a couple rounds of old maid.

well, most of us played old maid. the littlest one just made a mess with her freshly blow-dried mop of hair.

it's been a good start to the month of february, despite this lingering cold of mine.

today i am grateful for:
*daddy's internship that allows him a pretty easy going and flexible schedule. it's nice to hang out with him.
*dinner at costco. less mess is always better.
*diapers.
I've been getting a little too addicted to costco lately. Like, as in, making trips weekly just to get a diet coke at the snack bar and walk around (and of course, buy things here and there that I may or may not need...but mostly need!!) There's just something magical about it. :)
