carefree in window rock

my siblings saw mosiah in person for the very first time. :)

one thing i love about coming back home to window rock is how time seems to slow down. life is carefree and filled with simple pleasures.

like fishing with daddy.

and casting dreams on clouded lakes.

like taking early morning runs, trying to beat the sun as it makes it's appearance over the red rocks.

like hanging out in your undies all morning long in the garden with nana.

not a care in the world, not a thing on your to-do list except sprinkle the strawberries with water...and snitch a couple on your way back inside.

nothing in urgent need of doing, but taking a dip in umpa's pool.

the first feel of chlorinated pool water on your baby soft skin.

no cares in the world. all that is required, fun. lots of fun.

today i am grateful for:
* mimzy's curls. usually when we come to arizona, the dry heat zaps the girls' hair straight. this time the curls decided to tough it out.

*this hunky chunk of baby. he's grown so much already.
