our good friends let us stay the night. thanks, sid.
when we first moved to madison, we had been feeling a little down and uprooted. the kids missed the familiarity of their old home and friends. we had made our first trip up to green bay for a family reunion that sam's grandma cook was flying in for. when my children and i had met the green bay family for the first time, we were welcomed with open arms. the kids loved being surrounded by so many grandmas and they finally started to settle into wisconsin. it has been so much fun having sleepovers at grandma rita's house, watching football games and having bonfires at grandma jan's house, eating sweet treats and amazing food at aunt mary's house. with sam's internship in green bay, we've also made some wonderful friends. the kids have loved having other kids their age to romp around with while the parents gathered for card games, staying up far too late into the night laughing, telling jokes and stories. we've had some great times in green bay, and in the case we do end up moving away from wisconsin, we have some wonderful memories to look back on.
