happy valley

i love this place. needless to say, it was wonderful to be back. at this point, we still had no idea where we were going to be moving to. as we drove around town and ran daily errands, i tried to picture us moving back, grocery shopping, imagining the kids going to school here.
odd thing was, i couldn't.

i had wanted so badly for us to be able to move back here, and i really thought we would, but i just couldn't picture myself living here right now. it's strange, but i longed for the excitement of madison, the familiar streets, my parking spot at the grocery store. somehow, utah valley had become foreign and unknown. of course, this strange revelation didn't stop me from enjoying every second we had here.

oh how i miss these mountains!

yes, we were toying around with the idea of having a kitten. nathan and myha's cat just had a litter. the kids loved playing with all the kitties. it's so hard not to give in to every one of their wants and wishes.

during our stay with the adopho's, the kids played outside on the trampoline - seriously fun time.

and then, it was time to surprise my mom. i had told my dad about us coming out, for practical reasons, and it was a good thing i did, otherwise i would've missed them.
my mom was a bit blown away. i love happy surprises.

so does mosiah.

hanging out at umpa and nana's house.

it was nice to take a break from all the partying and relax.

there goes mimz...

mosiah was spoiled with hugs and kisses, right and left.

today i am grateful for:

*trampolines.
*umpa and nana.
