More goodbyes and packing up...

yep, more good-byes.
today we had to say good-bye to the wonderful pediatric staff. it's odd how attached you become to a place after having babies there. i didn't have my babies here, at our pediatric clinic, but, our pediatrician has been present for both births. and we've had the same two nurses since we moved here, helping to ease and calm my kids for vaccinations, school check-ups, sick days, etc.
i love hearing, "the crowfoots! it's great to see you guys!"

today was mosiah's turn.
he's in the 95th percentile for head circumference. big head.

and about the 90th + percentile in just about everything else: height, weight...
although, he did rank off the charts in the extremely adorable factor.
obviously.

we decided to document our last visit...
it's a pretty typical picture: makayah just bonked her head on something, mimzy is trying to run away, isaiah is doing his best not to catch anyone's cooties, and mosiah's just chillin'.

our nurse.

our doctor.

tough guy. his sticker for being so brave during his 2 month shots.

owies.

after mosiah's appointment, we had to make a quick trip back to school because isaiah forgot his backpack in his locker.

where i usually dropped him off in the mornings.

the front office, can you tell he's sad about leaving?

where his hedgie hoorays were displayed. :)

 the foyer art work.

i know it's so cliche, but it's seriously not fair how time steals away my little kindergartner and turns him into an almost 2nd grader so quickly.

i'm so glad we had ms. r for kindergarten and first grade. :) we'll miss you!

the hardest part about moving in 10 days, is moving in 10 days. we're now down to the wire and we only have 3 days left before we leave.
i finally came to the realization that this mess had to be dealt with. no longer did i have the luxury of procrastination. i had to face the facts. whether we are staying in madison or not, we are most definitely moving from this apartment. time to get busy.

the other hard part about moving and packing was trying to keep it all under wraps. nobody knew we were coming to the wedding. we had told everyone we weren't going to make it. how was i supposed to announce to everyone that we only have 3 days left and we might never come back?
i thought about my dilemma as i packed up these boxes. the productivity helped bring my mind out of the chaos and worry.

now that most things are packed, and most things are tidy, things didn't seem so bad.

like i said, most things were tidy. the hallway will just have to wait until tomorrow.

the end.
