i hadn't realized that butterfest was such a big deal.
it's so fun to have all these festivities just a walk down the street away.
fun little tidbit, church was let out early for this...which is why we didn't go to church at all today .
oops.
the drummers from the school band could be heard from our backyard.
we packed up, and walked down the two blocks to main street.
our kids kept drifting into the middle of the street in between numbers, like they were in the parade or something.
isaiah's favorite. the skaters and the bikers.
he turned around and said, "i want to do THAT."
the horses came trotting by.
"hi HEE-HAW!"
so there was this lady on the side of the road...
she was a bit off. maybe drunk, maybe high.
isaiah was out there breaking out his moves, and she pulled him in and gave him a high five. then she wanted him to dance again to teach her boy some moves.
and me. behind the camera. just to prove i was here, too.
i know i say it's bittersweet watching my babies grow older. but, today was nothing but sweet.
