the fun can't last forever...

the girls are both sick with colds and fevers, still. we didn't get to go to church today.

the day was a bust and spent mostly on the couch, cuddling my grumpy babes.

funny how fast the house can go from being sparkling clean, to a disaster area.

in the midst of chaos, coughing, and hot temps, there were some highlights to the day - surprisingly.

isaiah, with the help of his daddy, made this pirate ship out of legos. he, at least felt good enough to do something. and this particular something he had been waiting to do since christmas. he's so proud of it. he did a great job - go, isaiah! :)

the girls seemed to feel much better after their nightly bath, but only until they woke up an hour after they had fallen asleep - with more fevers, stuffy noses, and coughing. i guess i should feel lucky that it's only that and not pukey stuff. it could be worse.

today i am grateful for:

*isaiah, who is feeling much better. i'm so glad that i don't have 3 sick kids to take care of.

*the relatively decent sleep (considering feverish girls) i had on the couch. mak slept in my comfy bed.

*movies and sudoku. sometimes, it's just one of those days.
