it's always wonderful to start off the day with lots of loves.
mimzy's tippy toes. her last day of getting into nana's cupboards.
the girls spent the morning watering nana's plants - but mostly just playing in the puddles that were made.
personally, i think it was a brilliant excuse to get wet in the warm winter sun.
mimzy was an excellent shadow to her older sister. i loved watching these two play together, so much, in fact, that i didn't mind too much that i had to change their clothes after they soaked 'em.
we were lucky enough to meet up with our good friends and have a play date before flying out tomorrow.
we stayed and played for so long, it was hard for us to leave the fun.
but, the fun didn't end there. umpa and nana took us out for pizza and a movie to cap off our holiday.
the 30 minute drive to town. sometimes, i really miss this drive.

sam captured the flaming sunset. i miss this, too.

i used to come to this place as a little kid. isaiah was begging for more stories. so, while we were waiting i told him another one. i remember coming with aaron, and we were always so excited to come to town - it was such a treat! we'd come to big cheese, play the games, admire the flashing lights, and toys behind the glass cases - the ones we never had enough tickets for. one night in particular, we arrived, i got out of the car with one dress shoe and one tennis shoe on. my parents, most especially my dad, was completely embarrassed. i replied, "it's ok, dad. I'M not embarrassed." now we know where makayah gets her eccentric style from.

mimzy loved the flashing lights, too.
playing with daddy.
and one last night of family games!
thank you, nana and umpa. we had such a lovely night. we will miss you for sure.

she was too little for most games, but she still got to press buttons and such.
we watched "tin, tin." and while we were waiting, we bumped into our good friends.
sam was flipping through facebook and saw their status and location. yeah, funny stuff.
mimz was all tuckered out.
